Of the 8,702 reported cases today, 8,463 (97%) occurred within the recent 14 days (January 21 - February 3, 2022). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were Region 6 (1,039 or 12%), Region 7 (799 or 9%) and Region 11 (785 or 9%). *Of the 71 deaths, 66 occurred in January 2022 (93%), 2 in October 2021 (3%), 1 in September 2021 (1%), 1 in June 2021 (1%), and 1 in April 2021 (1%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. This issue is currently being coordinated with the Epidemiology and Surveillance Units to ensure information is up to date.* 539 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 207 are recoveries. Moreover, 29 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation. *All labs were operational on February 1, 2022. Ngayong 4 PM, Pebrero 3, 2022, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 8,702 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 15,290 na gumaling at 71 na pumanaw. Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 4.3% (153,335) ang aktibong kaso, 94.2% (3,377,958) na ang gumaling, at 1.51% (54,168) ang namatay. Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong February 1, 2022 habang mayroong 5 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 5 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 5.7% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 4.9% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal. *Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat na huwag maging kampante sa banta ng COVID-19. The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were Region 6 (896 or 15%), NCR (873 or 15%) and Region 4-A (694 or 12%). *Of the 43 deaths, 26 occurred in January 2022 (60%), 3 in December 2021 (7%), 1 in November 2021 (2%), 5 in September 2021 (12%), 4 in August 2021 (9%), 3 in July 2021 (7%), and 1 in June 2021 (2%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (1,041 or 15%), Region 4-A (775 or 11%) and Region 3 (696 or 10%). *Of the 51 deaths, 50 occurred in January 2022 (98%), and 1 in September 2021 (2%) due to late encoding of death information to COVIDKaya. This issue is currently being coordinated with the Epidemiology and Surveillance Units to ensure information is up to date.* 30 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 17 are recoveries. Moreover, 16 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation. *All labs were operational on January 30, 2022. However 10 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
