Covid-19 October 5, 2021Case Bulletin in the Philippines

Ngayong 5:30 PM, Oktubre 5, 2021, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 9,055 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 12,134 na gumaling at 0 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 3.9% (103,077) ang aktibong kaso, 94.6% (2,471,165) na ang gumaling, at 1.49% (38,828) ang namatay.

Ayon sa pinakahuling ulat, lahat ng mga laboratoryo ay operational noong October 3, 2021 habang mayroong 7 laboratoryo na hindi nakapagsumite ng datos sa COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Base sa datos sa nakaraang 14 na araw, ang kontribusyon ng 7 labs na ito ay humigit kumulang 1.9% sa lahat ng samples na naitest at 0.9% sa lahat ng positibong mga indibidwal.

Note:
No deaths were reported today due to technical issues with COVIDKaya.

25 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 21 are recoveries.

All labs were operational on October 3, 2021 while 7 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the 7 non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 1.9% of samples tested and 0.9% of positive individuals.

The relatively lower case counts today is due to lower laboratory output last Sunday, October 3.

The DOH is in constant coordination with the DICT to resolve technical issues with COVIDKaya. DOH will then again issue necessary public advisories to report additional deaths not included in today’s case bulletin due to technical issues of COVIDKaya.
